The Merchant Of Venice!

Sunday was totally amazing! I woke up totally ecstatic because, why? I was going to watch a play that I've been waiting to watch all week. This play, is known as The Merchant Of Venice. I think its by Shakespeare. Anyway, This play was gonna be acted out ny my very awesome friends. One of them is Arathi. And the others like, Josh, Jemma, Jack, Isaac, Nathanael, Tor, Daniel, Megan and Asha. And I have to tell you, they did an amazing job! But before I arrived at the play, things were a little messed up.

First, It was my sister's 5th birthday. Second, my parents were gonna celebrate it. The play was at 4 PM. But my parents were gonna bring my sisters to this kids playground place thing. So after church, my family and I ate vietnamese food. And after lunch, they sent me to the place where the play was gonna be held. but the thing was, It was only 2:23 PM. (Yeah. I checked.) And you see, the theatre, is located in this huge building. So I went around, trying to find it. And sooner or later, I did. Did I mention that I was alone? But you see, the place was under renovations and I started to panic. Like I was wondering if I was at the wrong place. And remember, no one was there yet. But then, I saw uncle Billy, Josh's dad. I was like, "Oh My Gosh! I thought I was at the wrong place!" And he like.. laughed. So he brought me into the theatre and it seems, the cast was just getting ready. So I got to talk to Arathi and Jemma. Jack and Nathanael were there, too. So we just did a little small talk. Did I mention that they were Australians? HAHA

They did their make up and everything and started warming up. It was pretty funny with all the weird warming up exercises. And Nathanael said "Amused by our warm ups?". I also went backstage but then Josh told me that backstage was off limits for "Guests". So I just followed Arathi everywhere. Sooner or later, the play started. I was entranced.. I think. If that's the right word.. haha. I really like it. ALOT. The play ended with a high note and the actors received resounding applause from the audience. After the play, All the actors (a.k.a my friends) all lined up outside to shake hands with everybody. I gave Arathi a huge hug. And gave Jack, Nat and Isaac handshakes. I was pretty happy after everything. :D
