this is love, this is war, it's insanity

Today was very interesting and awkward at the same time.
I'll just start at 9:27 AM, the time I woke up.

Joy called me down because mom needed my help. It was with the worship songs for CG. Since Uncle C couldn't help us print some stuff out, we asked Aunty Joon Phei. (BTW, our printer was down.) So we collected the papers from her. And then we went back home. I went to my room to make a birthday card for Rue. And then I read some of 'The Perks Of Being A Wallflower'. It is a very nice book. And then I got some other stuff ready, my guitar, my stuff for church. And then I went downstairs. But you know what? The car engine couldn't start AT ALL. And so, I panicked.I had to go to XYZ. Because today was Leah's birthday, and we were also giving her a surprise party. And I already made a card for her. So, my parents got the mechanic to come. But the job was way beyond him. This meant I had to go in my dad's car. Oh well. I got to church and I saw Marie (who is one of the funny leaders) and Andrea (friend) waiting at the pillars. I asked them who they were waiting for. They were apparently waiting for Brianna, because she was bringing the cupcakes. Nobody was there yet, so I ran up to EHOP and switched on the lights. Andrea and Marie came in and out. I had pretty much nothing to do, So I took out my black marker and wrote "Happy Birthday Leah!" In cursive, and then I drew Leah. Bri finally came and we went to hide the cupcakes. I let her play with my iPod.

Then Jonathan (He's a different Jonathan than the one with Kai Yuen.), and another guy came in. Jonathan, being the clueless dude, asked what was happening, I told him.  By that time, the lights were switched back off. So, he and I fooled around and laughed at everything. (You could say that Jonathan's a cool dude. He loves Star Wars BTW.) He tried talking to me about Star Wars and other stuff. Then more and more people started to come. We were told that Leah was coming and we all "hid" and when she came in, we all shouted "Surprise!" But Leah wasn't surprised. Because Sean had already told her about the party, we were pretty mad at him.  And Jonathan, being his talkative self, kept talking to me. He can be pretty funny, too. Then the Cell Group played a game. It was really fun, but Jonathan, Marie and I lost in the middle, so we sat aside and talked about stuff. It was nice. Then we finished the game and we all did Praise and Worship.  Jason (Who is another leader) led the worship with his black guitar. It was nice. After that, we all sat in a circle, where we listened to Lydia (Another leader). This week's topic was about friendships. And we played a gamed that was like Taboo. After we played the game, Lydia passed around this box of chocolates. The chocolates was actually baking chocolate. As we ate the chocolate, most of us concluded that baking chocolate tasted terrible. Lydia explained to us, the friendships can be like the baking chocolate, yucky and bitter. We were in our circle, as usual. Jonathan sat next to me. But as much as I tried to ignore him, he would come by and talk with, or to me. (I started to get suspicous. Abbygail was there, too.) And then we were given 1 Samuel 20:1-4. All of us took out our Bibles. I took out mine, which was in my iPod. Jonathan insisted that he wanted to share his Bible with me. But the words were really small, so I just used mine anyway. We read that verse, and then we dispersed into our small groups. I was in Shannon's group And so we answered questions about friendship. And they really got me thinking.

After we did that, Cell Group was over and everyone headed outside to the hallway to put on their shoes. I had finished putting on my left sneaker and started to tie the laces of the other when I knotted it wrongly and had to restart. Jonathan had finished wearing his shoes. "Hey, you need help?" He  smiled as he asked. But before I could answer, he kneeled down and started to tie my laces! I was shocked and guilty at the same time. Shocked, because no boy has ever offered to tie my shoe laces. And guilty, because i was just standing there being useless while Jonathan was kneeling over to tie my laces for me. When he was done, I thanked him. But he told me it was no big deal. But it was a huge deal in my opinion. I was really suspicious by this time. And I had a little gutty feeling that Jonathan had a crush on me. Here's a funny fact about us. We were born on the same year. Which means we are the same age. Get this. My birthday is on October the 9th 2012. And his is on October the 10th 2012. I found this out when I asked him when his birthday was. I totally freaked. But he just reacted with a high-five. And let me tell you, he can high-five really hard. He likes high-fives.

So we both walked down together and had a conversation. while a couple other boys, were teasing this other boy from the same group. They were teasing him about him being a vegetarian. Some boys never grow up. But Jonathan's different. Now, I'm not saying I have a crush on him, He is a very nice guy. But people rarely have crushes on me.  I don't want to get my hopes too high. I don't want to end up disappointed. So Jonathan and I just talked and talked until he had to go home. I had to stay for the evening service. Which ended at 7:00 PM. After that, Uncle Hii brought my family to dinner. I brought along 'The Perks Of Being A Wallflower' with me. We ate at this duck rice place. Uncle Hii ordered this meat thing that looked like skin. So, I tried it. It was pretty good. So I had another, and another. But I had no idea what it was. I asked my mom what it was, and she said it was Duck Intestine. I gagged. After I did, I continued to read my book. Uncle Hii paid for the dinner and we went to CG. I brought my guitar with me. Did I mention that I go to the same CG as Abbygail? So I went to Abby's room to tune my guitar. But, I tuned the wrong string too much, and guess what? It broke. But I didn't really need to panic. Because Stephan, Abby's older brother had a guitar, so I used that one. I helped my mom out with worship. But I couldn't stop thinking about the shoe lace incident with Jonathan. It was kinda disturbing. Finally worship was over, and all the kids, who were Ariel, Zander, Jun Yee, Joy, Eve, Colette and I all went to Abby's room. But Abby had a huge room, so even though there were many of us, the room still looked big. Zander sat on Abby's bed and played with the iPad. Joy, Eve and Collette, who were smaller kids, played with Abby's iPad. Then Ariel, me and Abby all strummed stuff on the guitar. Jun Yee was being occupied with the kids. Then Ariel showed me something that I nearly screamed when I saw it. She held 4 albums in her hand. One was a Greyson Chance CD, which was signed. And Joe Brooks' CD, which was ALSO signed. And the other two were David Choi CDs. I was so jealous. But not in a bad way.We all danced to one David Choi CD and One Joe Brooks CD. We laughed while we danced. Because we were so amused by ourselves. Zander stared at us like we were nuts. Well, that's half true. Then we got tired of dancing, so Abbygail, Ariel and Jun Yee went to play with Abby's iPad. The kids were gone by then. I sat next to Zander, who was searching for a game to download. We checked out all these weird and funny games. Zander knows Jonathan, too. And Ariel is best friends with Jonathan's older sister.

I just laughed along with Zander at all the weird games. Zander is also very nice. But not as nice as Jonathan. Then we played with Siri, and made fun of It and it was hilarious. Then it was supper time so we all went downstairs. The Adults celebrated the birthdays of October and September. And it was nice. After eating, the girls including me, went upstairs and we watched Kina Grannis music videos. And that was how we ended the CG. My family and I went home. I finished Aunty Siew Hoong's work and now I'm talking to you guys. Well, It's 2:51 AM. I better go to sleep. Good night.

KTHXBYE
