There is so much to talk about. So, hopefully you'll stay with me while I drone about how my week went. :)
Friday
I just love Fridays. I mean, who doesn't? Anyway, I had to get ready for JPS, and then I remembered that it would Isaac Holtby's birthday a week from now, so I decided to make him a card. Because cards are nice. And I really like making cards for peoples' birthdays. After I made it, it was time to leave the house, and I ran downstairs to grab a stack of newspapers and rolled in into a cone-like (but really very much thinner) shape. It was for gametime ay JPS, and I was the Fun Master. I create fun. AHAHA.
Anyway, my mum, my sisters and me went to eat lunch first, and then they dropped me off at where JPS was being held. I think I was at least 20 minutes early, so no one was there yet. I sat at the steps and waited till someone else arrived. Finally, Jemma, Tor and their mom came, and I said 'hi' to all of them. They really are very nice people. But one thing that really saddened me was that Jemma and her family were heading back to The States in May.
So anyway, the Holtby brothers came not long after, and I gave Isaac his card and then Jack was like "Awwwww!" And then Isaac was like, "Can I read it now?" And I was like "Sure, why not?'
Lol. They're just so adorable. We later engaged into many other conversations and talked about random stuff like tennis to Christmas presents and from movies to weird Australian slang.
Arathi came sooner or later and I talked to her because I really, really missed her and never got the chance to talk to her for like.. ever.
Anyway, I saw her reading this book about art and their artists and I was like "Weren't you reading that last year?" and she was like "SHHHH! I'm a really slow reader, 'kay!" And I just laughed because she made it sound really funny.
After a few more minutes, the meeting finally started. After Arathi anounced stuff, I went up to fire up the game. We played this game where you have to call a person's name and the person in the middle has to try to hit the person whose name was called. Get it? Good. The game was pretty good. After that it was the table topics and so on. The speeches were great, because our theme was Leonardo Da Vinci. And the speeches were just great. After 20 minutes, we were done. I talked to some people here and there but I mostly stuck with Arathi till she had to go. Though there was one point where we talked to the Holtbys. But out of all the brothers, Jack is the easiest to talk to. Honest. Sooner or later, we had to go. So I called my mom, and she said she was at Ikea, and she couldn't find her car. Great.
So I had to wait for almost half and hour before she came to pick me up.
After she did, we headed to a shopping mall, and my mom bought this ukulele that I wanted so badly, and I was super glad. After more shopping and taking a look at stuff, we went home, where I thought myself 12 chords and learned a few songs.
Saturday
Saturday was great! I had sooo much fun because youth has finally started again!
But anyway, I arrived at church with my ukulele (which I have named Adam Charlie) and Bekah and Sam saw me and said "Faith..! I know what you have there! Come here!" And I went there and they took my ukulele out of it's bag and were like. "It's pink." It seemed like they didn't like pink. AHAHA. So they started playing it, because they already had experience with ukuleles and Justin was like "Gimme!" So he took and started to randomly strum. "I donno how to play." He admitted. HAHA.
Then Bekah was like "Eh, perform for us!" But I didn't want to, and then Bekah took my ukulele and said "This ukulele is mine till you perform!" And I said. "Okay, you can have it." And then she and Sam went to buy something and I took the ukulele and ran away.
I bought a ham and lettuce-or-something focaccia and ate it for lunch, then went upstairs for Youth Group. Youth group was sooo fun because we played like this weird game and Marie gave us a great lesson and we just had a lot of fun fooling around. After youth, Jon, Tjia Yi and I were about to go to McD's when it started to drizzle. :(
So we had to go back inside. I bought a bowl of french fries from the cafeteria and ate them at a table that my group was sitting at. Then the celebration started and all the others went in. But I stayed outside with Tjia Yi because she had to finish up her school homework. While she did that, I just kinda played around with my ukulele. I talked to the other people that stopped by, too.
*fast forward to end*
After celebration, my family headed out for dinner and then cell group. I said 'hi' to Abby, then Ariel came so we went to Abby's room to hang around. Then it was worship time so we went downstairs and Ariel played the guitar and I kinda just worshipped along. After worship we went back upstairs and we started to look for songs to play on my ukulele and Ariel's guitar. We played soooo many songs I lost count. After much more song playing and talking and jsut chilling, we went downstairs for supper and I ate food. I think that was kinda all I did on saturday.
Oh, yes, I vlogged again for my YouTube Channel:
KTHXBYE
