love is already chasing you

Ssup. I love life a lot right now. I feel so infinite I bet I'm unstoppable. Anyway. Here's how my weekend went.

Friday

Woke up later than usual but got to school on time anyway. Goodness, I found it really hard to sit still in class that day. Chasing Waterfalls was gonna screen that night! And I'd get to see the crew again! And the Holtbys, Arathi, Shawn and Josh were coming! What could be better, really? So after sitting through school, my mom picked me up and we went home. I did some stuff, showered. Goodness, it was hard to find something to wear. Something not too heavy or casual, just right, that kinda thing. I made up my mind anyway. Waited till 6:something to pick Shawn up. Then we got to church. There was already some people there. I bought a bottle of water and Shawn got something to eat. And I waited. Daniel came along sooner and I introduced him to Shawn. Talked a little we did. It was nice. Then Josh and Arathi came! I was so glad like seriously. I introduced Arathi and Josh to Daniel and they talked a bit. I explained that we were a homeschool community kinda of thing. Daniel nodded. Then ohmygoodness the Holtbys arrived! I was so glad everyone was here because I'd missed them so much!

Soon we noticed that some people were lining up to enter the auditorium, so I went to line up with them. I saw Gary on the way, so I said hi. As we were lining up, Zac and Syuen arrived! YAY. I'd been talking to Syuen a lot on Facebook and I was really, really stoked to say hi to her in person again! It'd been nearly a month since I last saw her. And Zac too. Is it weird that I say I missed the both of them? Cause I did. Anyway, I introduced them to them too. (if you know what I mean.) 

Then the line started moving to get in. We entered the auditorium and I led them to the left side, which was where I'd be sitting with the cast and crew. Soon we sat down and we talked a bit. Okay, a lot. And I felt great. I'd missed these people too. The cast and crew of CW walked in later and then the screening started. It started with PR. CK (name protected for reasons) came out to talk a bit and give us and insight of the 4 short films. The the first one started. It was called "Life". It was pretty deep, but it was good. The second one was called "The Drop" which was a Cantoneses comedy and was really hilarious. Then the third one was "The Gift" which I really liked and the fourth one was "Chasing Waterfalls". Which was my favorite. After that, a word from PR. CK was given and then a really good performance by a lady with a really good voice, and then PR. GT called the cast and crew of all the films up on stage. Eritrea and I freaked out a little, but it was okay. 

After that, everything ended. I talked to some people, I felt great. Then I went back to my "gang" and we talked some more. Took photos. And talked and talked and talked. It was great, really. After that we left the auditorium. The Holtbys had to go home so I said bye to them. Then I talked with Josh and Arathi and Shawn. But their parents were late and my siblings were tired, so we said bye and left. 

Saturday

Today there was no youth group. BUT. We were gonna go watch Despicable Me 2 together! EXCITEMENT. I'd been wanting to watch the movie soooo badly. So Candace picked me up at about 1:00 PM cause she lives super near to me. Then we headed back to her house to get Justin and Melvin. She didn't tell me this. So, in the backseat, she sat on the right, Justin sat on the left and I sat in the middle. T_T

So, if the car turned left, I'd have to hold myself in such a way so I don't smash Justin. And if the car went right, I'd have to try not to squash Candace. Awkwardness at its level best. 

Anyway, we got to the cinema on time, and I saw some guys there already. I went to get popcorn and a box of nuggets. I hadn't eaten all day and I was starving! Soon Aileen and Bri and Miracle arrived. And I was kinda surprised to see Damien too. So I talked to them and it was great, really. Soon, we went into the theater and I must tell you, people have told me that DM 2 isn't as good as the first one. But I think it's the exact opposite. It was so good! Ohmygosh it was soooo goood. 

So yes. After the movie we went to church. There we kinda hung around a bit. I talked to Tjia Yi, ate a sausage bun, it was pretty cool and stuff. Then we went in for service. After that I ate dinner with Tjia Yi and Aileen at the cafeteria then we went into the auditorium. We actually weren't supposed to, but the back door (badasses aren't we?) was open so we went in and booked seats. There were ushers in there, but they didn't seem to mind us hanging around. We took photos, talked, took more photos and talked. It was great. I love them so much. Anywho, they finally, officially opened the doors so people could come in and the seats started getting filled, the cast and crew of CW came in, my family came in. Sooner or later, the screening started. I was a little disappointed though. Zac, Japhia, Amy che che and Tim didn't come. :(

After sitting through the whole thing again, we went on stage again and yeah. It was nice. I talked to some people after that, then we had to go home.

Sunday

I woke up at 11. 

Why not. 

Anywho. I had art class replacement at 1:30 so I went for that. The after that I went home again and kinda tried to have a nap but didn't. So instead I spent my life on the internet again. Sigh. 

Then at around 5 my family went out to have dinner. There, we bumped into Terry, Dennis and two other very nice people. We talked a bit. Then they noticed I was reading this book called "I Am Number Four" which is actually a motion picture now. They asked if i'd watched the movie but I said, "No, I wanna read the book first."

Then they said that the movie was great. I can trust them I guess.

 Anyway, after eating, we walked to church. Then I saw Sarah and Sara! I was so happy to see them. But Sarah, especially. :D 

We went into the auditorium and I told her and her mom to sit first. I hung around with other peeps a bit. The I saw the other Sara and said "HI" and she said "hi". Then I saw Ashwin then he said that I looked nice and I was like "whattt" then he was like "You look nice!"

Then I laughed but inside I was blushing because not many guys would tell me that I look nice. Sigh. 

But you know, I was touched. Deep down. Ashwin is really nice.

Yeah, so I headed back into the auditorium where the screening started. It was kinda bittersweet, it would be the last time I'd be watching the final product of all our hard work. But again, it was nice. When it ended, we went up on stage for the very last time. For some reason, the introduced the directors of each film to the audience. But Gary wasn't there.

After it all ended, I took photos with the gang, we talked and talked. Then me and Eritrea went outside to chill out a bit. We talked to Dennis. It was great. What I found kinda weird though, was when Marcus' mom came to pick him and a friend. Nick was in the passengers' seat, and when they drove pass me and Eritrea, he looked and me, smiled and waved.

What.

So yeah. Eritrea went home. Then me and my family went home. Everything had ended and started perfectly. I'd never been so happy.
