It's Friday today.
Last night was amazing. (don't think wrong.)
it was the ABC's (name changed for reasons) Thanksgiving!
And I honestly still can't believe Teacher Kat picked me and another very nice guy to emcee the event. :')
But anywho, this is pretty much how Thursday went, (and I loved every second of it)
Okay I'm not sure if I remember everything but whatever.
Woke up at like 8. Yes. 8. Since I'm part of the play and everything, I didn't need to go to school early. I'd only needed to be there at 10. So yeah. I got to EGPoint. Which is the older building. ABC has two buildings, and I go to LView's building. But on Thursday, everyone who was part of the play or was presenting something would need to head over to EGPoint. I got there at like 9:50. Then I went over to the lunch area and saw Christine, Ernest and Sarah discussing some things about the slides. I said hi. They said hi. I gave Sarah a cookie. (because for Thanksgiving we were supposed to bring food for the potluck. I brought cookies. I made them. Yes I am awesome.) I took a photo with that cookie. It was great.
Then I talked with some people, then we went to the sanctuary to practise our play. After practising, T. Kat came over to talk to me about the schedule for the event and some tips on emceeing. Then a few other people came out to practise, sooner or later my class headed back to the lunchroom to eat lunch. After lunch we practised some more there and then we were dismissed. But not me, apparently. Since I was emceeing the event, I had to stay back to discuss more things. So I went up to T. Kat's office and together with Petrina, her daughter, who is really nice and is going to major in classical music or something, we discussed how Thanksgiving was going to go. Then after we were done T. Kat asked if my mom was coming to pick me up, but I told her that my mom came and I told her that I'd need to stay back so she left. Then T. Kat said that me, Petrina, another guy who was hanging around the office whose name I later learned was Euwyn and T. Kat could go to the nearby mall and eat at this really cool place called Tong Pak Fu. So we drove there and we talked a bit. When we got to the place I ordered this mango milk snow ice thing which was realllyyy realllyyy good.
*fasts forward to around 6:30*
Some of my classmates were already there, so we talked and hung around. Then I saw Evan, (who's emceeing with me) and I think I said hi. He's like two years older than me. Ha, ha. We talked about how we were gonna present everything. Then we concluded and he went off to somewhere I know not. then Christine and Iris and Sarah came and we talked. A lot. Sarah has this thing for acapella-ing so we sang some songs and had fun. After that we went down to the lunch room where we were supposed to meet people and eat dinner. Goodness, there was a huuugeeee spread of food, and a whole lot of people. So many people that it was hard to get a plate to eat. So I had a nugget, two pieces of jelly, a pizza and a cookie. (the ones I made)
But I wasn't that hungry so it didn't matter. After that Evan came over and asked if we should go to the sanctuary early, and I said sure, so we went over and talked a little and waited for people to come in. Goodness, you shoulda seen how full the hall was. It was so full, even the isles were filled with people.
The event started with prayer, worship, a speech from T. Kat and a pastoral message from Pr. Tim. After that Aunty J.A. came on the play with her ensemble, and they were amaaazziingggg.
After that me and Evan went up to greet the audience and introduce ourselves. So yes, basically the whole night went on like, performance, awards, performance, awards. BUT BUT BUT. When my class went up to present, it was seriously the best-est thing ever. All our hard work was greeted with encouraging guffaws from the audience! It was awesome. Really awesome. After that performance and the awards. Evan and I went up to greet the audience good night.
I was kinda sad though, after that Evan probably went home earlier. I didn't even get to tell him how great he did.
But anyway, I went to talk to some people, hugged my classmates, gave bro fists to the dudes. It was good. Really good. I love ABC. I love this school so much. Best decision ever to join the school.
Thanks for reading. :)
