Solas Fides: the missing puzzle pieces and cloudy question marks still look a bit surreal

HI HI HI.

It's Saturday and so far my weekend is pretty okay. But Friday, oh, Friday. Friday made me so happy and I absolutely loved Friday.

Friday

First of all, school was pretty good and I especially liked English because we had to write a poem! (!!!!)
We also had nasi lemak. It was good. Okay, but that's not really why I liked Friday, actually. I liked it because well, JPS POOL PARTAY. Really.

It really was very fun. It started at around 4:30 PM but I arrived a little later, and lol, the first person who was so happy to see me was Josh. And then Isaac and Jack were like "Hi, Faith!" and then Nat a little later. But when Arathi saw me she shrieked and hug me. :') Oh yeah, and Onysha was there too. So I talked to them and it was nice just talking and asking about how our lives are. Then a little later, me and Arathi met this girl that Josh was talking to, and her name was Vera. Vera was a really nice person. She said also, that my name (Faith) and her's both meant the same thing! Which is very cool because technically her name is also Faith. Then I made a pun saying we were really faithful. Which made Isaac and Arathi and I think Josh and Jack groan. But it was still worth the joke. After a lot more talking and a lot more puns and getting to know Vera, we were allowed to eat the food.

The food was great. REALLY GREAT. One of my favorites was this Greek salad and macaroni and cheese. Yes. Yep. After more talking and eating, we (and by we I mean Josh, Vera, Onysha, Arathi, me and Isaac) played this game that Vera bought for this occasion. (she's so nice omg) It was Draw Something, if you're curious. AND IT WASN'T A MOBILE GAME SERIOUSLY. It was really fun and I won't explain why because laziiinnesss. Anyway, after a bit, Arathi and I decided to go swimming. Or maybe the more appropriate term would be "water hopping". Yep. After a lot of hopping we got out and my dad said we should go soon. So I listened to the rest talk about a lot of stuff, then I went to get changed. Then I asked if we could take photos and we did, and I had to go which made me kinda sad. But I got a little happier when I hugged Arathi and Josh goodbye, and also when the Holtbys all said bye at the same time. Honestly, a lot more happened, but I'm to lazy to write about it.

Saturday

Had McDonald's for lunch awh yeah.

I reached church at about 2:46 PM and well, as I walked into the concourse I saw Darrel and Mei Sei talking and I asked them if there was CG or not and they said yeah, but it's combined today and that it was boring and that they'd rather stay downstairs. So I kinda became a rebel in a nanosecond and stayed downstairs with them and talked. Honestly, I don't really regret that because Darrel and Mei si are very nice people and it was awesome letting loose and hangin' with them. Really. And also for some reason, Darrel was also sassier today. Probs because he hasn't slept in two days, or so he says. So we hung a bit more and decided to go upstairs to where the CG was being held. But we didn't go in yet. But then Tjia Yi and Bri came out and caught us and we had to go in. Well, I did, Darrel just sat outside on a stack of chairs swinging his legs because they're too short to touch the floor. Sigh. After a bit CG ended and I went to get a packet drink which was lemon barley which contained no traces or lemon whatsoever. In fact, it tasted more like sirap bandung. Go google it if you don't know what it is. Anyway, we (and by we I mean Tjia Yi, Wei Jen, Jonathan, Mei Si and me) talked outside for a looonggg time before I went back in to get a siew pau (google it) which was actually pretty awesome. Then we went downstairs (Tjia Yi had gone down already) and dawdled a bit and stuff.

We didn't go in for celebration and by this time Jon had gone home. We only talked outside and it was actually pretty nice. Just what was left of us plus Miracle hanging about. It was fun and I realized that these are the people I'm gonna grow up with. Pretty cool, really. After some talking I suggested an adventure, so we went on one. It wasn't really an adventure even if we did go look around the church hallways. It did get pretty scary at one point so we quickly scrambled (who uses that word anymore?) back to the concourse. Soon, celebration ended and we all said goodbye and we separated. Again, a lot more happened but I'm too lazy to write every single tiny detail. And then again I wonder why I blog about all this. Sigh.

After dinner I got home and actually, earlier on today, Evan asked if I could Skype at around the time I got home and I said sure. So yep. We Skyped at about 10 and carried on for an hour. I've never talked to a guy on Skype for that long before. But haha, it was really nice. It's nice cause he says he's comfortable around me and I'm comfortable around him so we could talk like how best friends would. And the things we talked about were really random yet memorable. Kinda. But then my dad said it was time to sleep so I had to end the call. We continued to chat a little bit after that though ahahah. (rebel)
So yeah, Saturday was pretty nice. :)
