Keep the pace, just in case all the magic dies

So many things to blog about. at least 3 things I want to share with you but I'm too tired to do so. I want to talk to you about the time I went ice skating with Shawn and Ian last Thursday. I want to tell you about the Interpretive Speech Competition at JPS last Friday. I want to let you know about the Writing Class Graduation on Wednesday. And I want to report to you about the Conference that I just went to. Twice I deleted my posts while I was typing it out halfway. There was too much to talk about. And I don't want to bore you. I want to tell you so many things. So many. So, what I'm going to do is type out the highlights of each event that I went to. It's easier that way. I think. I'm going to start now. In 3...2...1

Thursday

I went ice skating with Shawn, Ian,
Jern ling, Jern Yong, Jounique, another Iain, Hanniel and Trypheana. I was reluctant at first, but I finally went in. I skated about 1 round. It hurt my feet a lot. At 8:00 PM, we went for dinner at this place. It sold mostly noodles. It was raining, too. I got home at 10:00 PM. And my feet really hurt a lot.

Friday

Friday was amazing. Firstly, because the day of  The Interpretive Speech Competition of The Year had finally arrived. I was excited. I'm not sure if I did well or not. But I think I spoke to fast. After the competition, I was disappointed to find out that I didn't win. But Arathi and Isaac won. I was happy for them. I really was. YAY. Anyway, after the competition was over, we walked over to the refreshments table where we ate food. I had a packet of iced tea and some Rainbow Girly Cookies that someone very awesome brought. (It wasn't me BTW, but if you thought it was me, then you're really awesome. xD) So I talked to some people and later walked over to the stage to talk to Nathanael, Josh and Ann. Isaac was rocking out on the Bongos. When he finished playing, I said to him "Hey Isaac, I bet you don't know this, but your cheeks jiggle whenever you hit the drums." And then he said "WOW! you're really observant aren't you?" He said it in his Aussie accent and I died. Well... not literally. We chatted some more, I laughed at him some more.. then I had to go home.

Tuesday (The Next Week)

Tuesday was horrifyingly nerve wrecking. Why? It was the day of The Concert And Graduation day for Writing class. I can't remember what time I woke up. But anyway, I arrived at church, which was the venue for the concert. And I saw Jonathan Lo. And he said 'Hi' and I said 'Hi.' We talked. I love the fact that I have the ability to make hime laugh. It's awesome. Oh shutup brain. Anyway, my mom put make up on my face, and after about an hour, it was showtime! First, we had some readings. I read a poem I wrote myself and some people performed pieces of music. And then it was time for our play! "James and The Giant Peach" Was what we were doing. I played Aunt Spiker. xD. After the play, e had more performances. I sang a song and played a piano a the same time. I messed up, though.. :(
After the whole thing was over, everyone walked out to the concourse to eat lunch. The food was okay. After we ate. Some of the boys and younger girls went to the side of the concourse and and played 'catching'. I sat and watched. After some more rounds of watching them run about, quite a number of the kids had to go home. So we went to uncle Chee Beng's shop and watched the TV there. I made Jonathan laughed- again. xD. Very much later after the adults had finally finished chatting, we went home.

Mood: WIDE AWAKE

KTHXBYE
