climb the stairs to watch the sun

We strutted into an empty elevator, quickly closing the doors after all of us were in. 

"So, which prank do we do?" I asked. 

"Um, let's do the one where you drop a pen and when someone tries to pick it up, you go 'HEY! THAT'S MY PEN!" Said Jack. 

Well, we did do that one but only one person noticed, and all she did was take a glance at the pen, look at Jack and say, "Your pen." and turn around. 

The second prank almost worked out. Here's how it went:

We waited for only one person to come into the elevator, which meant going up and down for a long time, at one point, Jack exited the lift to avoid suspicion. Finally, a guy walked into the lift alone. When we all settled, Nathanael started, "Now that we are all gathered together, we can now proceed." 

Of course, the guy didn't react until Josh showed him a photo of a random person and added "Make it look like an accident." 

Meaning that the guy who walked in was part of an "assassination" to "kill" the person in the photo. The guy looked at Josh, then at us and backed away saying, "No, no. I don't know." 

And then we ruined it by laughing. We apologized to the guy and he went out at the next floor. 

Our next prank was simple: face the corners of the lift and don't do anything. 

a lady walked in while we attempted this and did not acknowledge us, but then I burst into a fit of laughter and at the next floor, I ran out saying: "I forgot something and I need to get it!"

After running out I stood in front of the elevator waiting for them to come back when Jack appeared behind me and went "BOO!"

After calming down I explained to him what happened when he went out of the lift. 

And he laughed because we failed so miserably. 

The last one was done by me alone. When they finally came to our floor and the doors opened, I saw a lady and a man standing right at front. Seizing the chance, I screamed "It's you! You're one of them!" backed away, and ran. 

Jack then caught up with me, and he was laughing his head off and telling me that was great. 

When I finally found Josh later he told me that they did one last prank, and that my prank didn't really work. The prank that Nat, Jemma and Josh did went like this:

They greeted everyone who entered the lift and introduced themselves but with different names. Josh called himself Christina and Jemma called herself George. But Nat kinda just stood in the corner and stayed silent. 

It's funny to say that we actually had a lot of fun doing the elevator pranking even thought we failed very, very miserably.
