cue the solar eclipse

I'm listening to Galaxies as I write this, and I'm being filled with so much gusto.
Okay, today was great. I loved it so much. But it was bittersweet, too. I'm just going to skip to the part of the day where I went to JPS, which is my favorite part of the month, as always.
The song has changed to The Real World. Haha. Anyway, I got to JPS as 1:56 PM. The meetings start at 2:00 PM. I know, I know, I was almost really late. Okay moving on. I saw Arathi and Asha first and I said 'Hi!' to them because I love them. :3
And then we went down stairs to the hall and started setting up the chairs because we were the first ones there, surprisingly! Then Jemma and Tor came. Now, let me explain why this month's JPS was kinda bittersweet. Jemma and Tor were going back to the States for about a year. And this makes me really sad because Jemma is super nice, and Tor is rather interesting. Anyway, they were setting up for a sale at JPS because they wanted to get rid of some stuff that might be too much to bring back with them to the States, and my mom got some really cool VCDs. (WIN) Then Isaac and Nathanael came. But Jack didn't because he was studying. :'(
They said 'hi' and I said 'hi'. So, more people started coming and I was getting super excited, and nervous at the same time, because I would be doing a speech. Okay, so then we started JPS and it was nice. I really liked this meeting, the game that we played was really fun. But I'm too lazy to explain what it was about. So then more stuff was done, and then I did my speech, which was about Roald Dahl because the theme for this month was famous writers. I guess I did okay-ish. I mean, it could've been better if I'd talked slower. It seems that talking fast is a huge, huge problem with me. Especially if I'm nervous. Agh. :(
But I guess I did okay-ish overall. And then a few more announcements went by and stuff. And then the meeting ended. I actually really like it when the meeting ends because I can talk with people. Talking with people is fun. I talked to Isaac, and it seems that he likes photography. Which is really cool, because he takes really, really good photos. I'll put a link to his photography blog at the bottom. But yeah, then I talked to more people, and I talked to Nathanael a bit. But I really wished that Jack came because I really, really like talking to him. Then we all had to go home, but after we all talked some more. It was nice. Yeah. This post was not much, but I felt that I should write about today because this meeting was supposed to be my last. I'll be going to a centre in June, and on Fridays they finish at 4:00 PM, which is the time that JPS finishes. But I was really touched when Josh told me how much that I'll be missed. And he even said that he'll keep me posted about outings and stuff. Josh really is a great friend.
