Tuesday (I started school on Tuesday)
The first day, I'm not gonna lie, was really scary. THERE WERE SO MANY NEW FACES. Well, except for one or two. But it was still really scary. Yeah, so I went into my class, and it was really awkward cause everyone was sooo quiet. But I was kinda late-ish so there weren't many good seats left. I sat next to this girl who looked kinda scared and afraid. Then more kids came in and then a teacher came in we did a few introduction activities. Which was awkwardly fun. Ha. Yeah, then more stuff related to orientation passed by and it was lunchtime. By this time, I warmed up to the girl I sat next to and learned that her name's Charmaine. And she's actually super nice. Soft spoken, but super nice. I had lunch with her. Then we got another subject, and then we were dismissed. Yeah.
Wednesday
By today, we kinda know each other a little bit better. Our first subject was cookery but we didn't cook anything. It was an introduction to what we'd be doing for the next 5 months. The teacher was nice. In the middle of the class, our teacher told us to separate into four groups. So I went over to Rachel's (another friend who is really nice) desk and some other people came over. Our group had 7 people in total. This is where I really got to make friends with more people in my class. Everyone is just really nice! After discussing more stuff, the next subject came about and then it was lunch. I ate with Rachel this time. Yeah. I also made new friends from the P3 during lunch and they're really nice. WHY IS EVERYONE SO NICE. There're these girls named Christine and Sarah and they're really, really nice.
After lunch we got History and our teacher gave us homework to do so yeah. After school, my mom told me that Gary told her that at Taylor's Lakeside Campus there was going to be this arts fair that would last for about 3 days or so. And since Wednesday was the first day, I asked my mom if we could drop by. We kinda got a little lost trying to find the campus so I asked Zac (who goes to that college) where exactly it was. But then we found the place a little later so I told him nevermind. Then he asked if I was there. Well, when we got there we had a problem with parking so we decided that we'd come again on Thursday, which was the next day. And besides, Thursday had much more stuff that we were interested in. Kinda. So I told Zac that we came and left due to the parking, but said that I would definitely come again the next day. You see, on Thursday, he and his band would be performing and I wanted to see him perform because well, I'd never heard him sing before. So. Yeah.
He was happy about that, I guess. Haha.
Thursday
Just so you know, I'm writing this today. On Thursday. So. Yeah. I'll write Friday tomorrow. So. Yeah.
I arrived at school the same time as every time. And well, it went on as usual. Nothing much, really.
*fast forwards to end of school*
Well, as I was walking down the steps, my slipper broke and so and I had to take it out and walk half barefoot to my mom's car. Then I told my mom that my slipper broke, so we drove to a mall to get a new pair. But I couldn't go anywhere so my mom was the one who had to choose the slipper. But she chose a really nicely colored one and got donuts along the way, so it's a win-win situation. HAHA.
After that we drove to the Lakeside Campus and finally got a decent parking. Then as I walked up I felt outrageously flabbergasted. I've been to an actual campus before and this was really, really cool. The place was HUGE. There were students in fabulous clothes walking everywhere. Some with their gal friends and others with their guy friends and it was amazing. The place itself was stunning. There was this really nice lake at the end and there were trees everywhere and there was turf on the ground and there was this arena-like place where Zac would perform later. And what I found really cool was that there were frisbees everywhere. Like seriously. Everyone owned at least one frisbee. And as I continued to walk with my mom and sisters, I saw Japhia! She was hanging with her coursemates and chiling. We talked for a bit, and went off.
We went up one level to where there were a few booths set up. There was lot's of food and clothes and gadgets being sold everywhere. And I saw this booth that sold absolutely FABULOUS iPhone covers. Like seriously. I've never seen such nice covers ever. Anyway, we continued to walk down and stopped at this pie stall that Gary had recommended to us. We bought some pies. Haha. After that we hung around and looked about. There were a few acts going on and it was pretty cool. The college life looked really amazing.
Anyway, we later stopped by one of the lecture theaters cause Zac also told me that he was involved with this club that made short films. And so they would be screening their films at the theater. As we walked in we bumped into Zac. Not literally, but he seemed really happe to see us. :3
After a few minutes more people came in and they started screening the films. Some of the films were really, really good. And I actually enjoyed most of them. After a few films I left the theater cause by now Zac and his band would be coming up anytime soon. And they did come up. Zac was wearing a pink shirt that he wasn't wearing earlier on, and I thought it was kinda funky. Haha. Anyway, their performance was really good. The first song they sang was The A Team by Ed Sheeran. It was nice. Like really nice. They sang like 4 more songs and went off. I think that they left the campus after that. After that it got it little late, so we went to the upper floor again to eat our dinner. I noticed that near the pie store, there was a burger store, and everyone was buying from them. So I bought a burger, and OMG, it was soooo good. Like seriously. The patty was so juicy I couldn't even. After eating, I went to look over the balcony area to watch the other acts, and I later noticed that Gary was talking with my mom and then Zac was with him. So I was wrong about them leaving. Haha. Anyway, I said to Zac, "You did really great!"
And Zac was like: "Haha, thanks!"
"Did you notice me recording you performance?"
"Uhh, no."
"Well, I was, but then halfway through the device ran out of battery!"
And then I thought he said something about handphones these days and their short battery life span.
But instead he said, "I really messed up Payphone!"
And I said, "IKR! Wait, sorry, what?"
"I really messed up Payphone!"
"What? No! It was fine!"
"Haha, no lah!"
"Haha, yes lah!" Or something like that.
Anyway, we talked a bit more and then he was like, "You can post the other songs, but whatever you do, don't post the second song please!"
And I was like, "Haha, of course! I'm a nice person!"
*more talking*
Then I had to go home, so I said bye to Zac and Gary.
And I felt really happy because of all the fun I had today. :)
DISCLAIMER: I know I mention Zac a LOT in this post, but we are only friends. Really good friends. Don't think that I like him in anyway, he's much older than I am. And, we're just friends. OKAY. Tanks.
