turn out all of the lights and set this ballroom aglow

Hi there.
Sorry for not posting for nearly two weeks. But this week has been great. I feel like I wanna post Saturday only because this Saturday has been a good one. One of the best I've had in a long time. So yeah.

So I went to church today as usual. I headed over to the hospitality area because I needed to make sandwiches for Mini SNL later. (Peanut butter and Nutella! Um, separately, of course.) Anyway, a few minutes later, Aileen saw me and came over. We talked a bit, I missed her a lot, even if it's been only a week. After finally finish making to sandwiches, I packed up and went to meet a few friends at a table. We talked a bit, I mostly listened, cause well, I like listening. Then some of the people had to go somewhere I know not of. Bri was there, so I talked to her. After that I went to get some food for lunch cause well, I was hungry. (duh.) I bought like this Lo Mai Kai thing that was now wrapped in a cube-thing. It was pretty good I have to say, though it had this funny prawny smell. Yeah.

Anyway, after eating I watched Wei Jen, Brendan, Li Shern and Joel play Avengers Alliance or something. Then after that we played some Uno, which I hadn't played in a while, and I honestly really miss playing that really awesome game. Like really. After that more people came to the table and Aileen was there, too. We did some cup song-ing with Eritrea. Well, we tried to teach her. Haha, she's getting better though. OH YES! I forgot, Ruby finally came to church after a looooong time. She's really pretty now. With long hair and everything. Char was with her. We did talk for a bit. After that Me, Char and Leah followed Lydia to her car where we'd drive Kaya's house, which is where Mini SNL would happen. Okay, let me explain, this month for SNL, my group was split into three groups, the group I was in would head to Kaya's house, along with also the W8s. Together, we are the Weight for LO00! Or as Sam calles is WLO00. Makes sense right.

Okay, moving on. I had to direct Lydia to Kaya's house even though I hadn't been there for nearly two years. I have to say, my memory is quite okay. (It rhymes!!!)
Anyway, when we got there, it was nice to see that Sam and some other nice people were already there! We helped out with a bit of decorating and stuff and we practised for the skit that me, Sam, Abby and Jun Jie would be in later. But Abby and Jun Jie wasn't there yet to practise. Buh. (sorry if you're reading this, guys) OHYEAH, also, Me, Leah, Sam, Evie, the other Aileen and Char hung around at the park in front of Kaya's house. It was really fun, I took photos of them jumping up and down the see-saws and I took photos of coconuts, too cause why not. Why not. But yes, it was great.

Sooner or later, more people came and more food also came, so HJ said that we could eat! YAY. The food was really really nice. Like really nice.
While I was eating I was listening to Sam give directions to Abby, who wasn't sure how to get to Kaya's house. :)
She got there anyway so it was all good.
After dinner we played three games. But before that we all introduced ourselves. HJ said that we'd need to tell everyone our names, which school we go to (stalker much?) and what colour we'd want out toilet bowl to be in our future houses. Then we played four very, very fun games. One of the games, I remember the most. It went like this: We were divided into two groups names One and Two, I was in One. So was Sam and Char and Jun Jie and Andrew and Nick and lots more people. Then, we'd have to reach over to the person opposite us and hold their hand. And then we'd have to turn around and hold whoever was behind us' hand. After that everyone would get all tangled, and the goal of the games was to UNTANGLE back into a circle without letting go of each other's hands. And I just so happened to be positioned in the most awkward position EVER. First, Jun Jie was behind me (somehow) and Nick was in front of me (somehow) and they, for some reason were holding hands, but not like in a straight, normal way, their hands were locked so that theirs arms CROSSED. And so, I was stuck in this awkward "hug" thing. And you know what, Nick kept pulling Jun Jie's arms so that they'd go tighter around me. OH GAWD WHY. And so I looked at Nick and gave him "the look". And Jun Jie was all "I'M SORRY FAITH. I'M SO SORRY."
Sigh. Here, it looked something like this:

So yes. But we untangled in the end so it was all good. After that game, we played another game which I'm too lazy to explain what it was about. After that game, we (and by we, I mean Me, Abby, Sam, Jun Jie, Nicholas and Timothy) were up to do the skit. It went pretty okay. Except there were was a part where Jun Jie forgot his lines, but it went okay. After our skit ended, another skit came up and then HJ shared a short message with us which I took to heard. Kinda. Anyway, we were asked to split into groups, so of course, I grouped up with Sam, Abby, Jun Jie and Andrew, where we talked about life, and took photos and stuff. After that ended, everyone grouped together to take a huge group photo. Then Mini SNL ended. I was really happy because I had such great fun in a long while. More fun than I'd described here on this post. But yes, I was really, really happy.
Thanks for reading. :)
