edison graduation + the weekend

Sunday, oh I mean, hello! It's been exactly one week from the last time I updated, and hey, I'm back! (woohoo)

Today was incredibly amazing. Well okay, this weekend was pretty awesome and the title says it all.
I'll start with today first while it's still fresh in my memory.

Today I graduated from Level 1 of Edison and it was a pretty great/nerve wracking experience. It was great because so many of my friends were there. It was nerve wracking because I had to compete in the poetry slam again, but this time with the other Edison centre. So that means I was competing against 5 other winners. Gosh. D: Anyway, I arrived at the venue at about 3 something and quickly went to find a seat. I also saw the Holtbys and Josh and Ann and Shawn and I waved to them. At the same time, Aunty Amy was announcing the program for the graduation and it seemed, that the poetry slam was up first! D: Then Ms Ana went up and she started calling up the competitors.

I was the second to go up and well, I guess it went well. Except that I felt like I was trembling violently. I hope no one noticed that. Sooner than I expected, though, my turn was over! Hoorah, I quickly went back to my seat and heaved a huge sigh of relief. Phew. After everyone went up, the next thing that followed up was a debate by the level 3s (Shawn, Becky and Kai Xiang were together) , and then finally The Midsummer Night's dream by the level 2s. (which consisted of Isaac and Arathi!) It was great. Oh yes, halfway through there was an intermission where hey announced the winners and well I guess I won the Poetry Slam? ( I did but I still find it very hard to believe) And I guess I was (and am) really happy. Then everyone congratulated me and it was nice. I felt so appreciated. :')

I got to talk to some people during the intermission. People like Jack and Nathanael and uh, Ann and Becky. It was fab. I also got to tell them a pun. :D

Puns make me happy.

Wow so I guess after that everything ended. But I still got to mingle around and talk to a lot of people and it was nice. Okay, everything was a lot better than I described because I'm really too lazy to type out every single thing that happened. I'm tired ok.

Saturday!
Saturday was kinda fun, too. Mostly cause I got to watch Thor 2 with the CG. The movie was great. It really was. Well okay, I think it's great because I haven't watched the first Thor yet. (I'M SORRY OKAY.) I felt it was great because Loki is the awesomest super villain ever. It was great because Thor has fab hair. And it was great because Kat Dennings is in it! <3

Yeah after the movie we got to hang around the mall a bit, then we headed to church for service and stuff.

So ya.

I prefer Sunday to Saturday though. Today was really a lot of fun. :)
