awesome sauce

The title has absolutely everything to do with today's post.

Usually I never really look forward to weekends, and I didn't really look forward to this one. However, my weekends took a huge turn and turned out being pretty awesome, hence the title, 'awesome sauce'. However there was no sauce included in this weekend. Sorry to those who were looking forward to vivid descriptions of ketchup and bbq sauce and mustard and what not. ANYWAY, back to what I wanna talk about.

Saturday was good. It was actually really good. For probably the first time in a long time Saturday was pretty great. Firstly we didn't have an actually CG meeting, instead we used the time to decorate the NextGen Space to make it look Christmassy! It was really, really fun. It was fun because Tjia Yi was there. It was fun because Alanis was also there. It was fun because mostly everyone was being friendly. It was fun because the W-8s were decorating the space with us. Yes. I don't think I did much, though. The only thing that I did was talk to Tjia Yi and Alanis, make a poopload (I don't cuss) of puns and laugh. A lot. Yeah, I guess that was what made Saturday fun. After CG Tjia Yi and I went downstairs to get something to eat. We talked a bit as we ate our food and it was nice. It was nice because I hadn't seen Tjia Yi in a long time and I missed her a lot. After eating we went back upstairs for the VBS helpers' meeting. Yes, this year I was eligible to help out! I was really excited to help this year because I was assigned to be the photographer for the event! Yassss.

After briefing I went downstairs and I saw Darrel sitting alone so I went to join him. We talked until service ended and it was really great. Darrel is such a nice person, completed with humor. LOTS of humor.

Yeah so basically that was Saturday. Trust me, it was lot better than described here, but it's 12 AM and I'm very sleep and I still have two more days to go. I need to allocate a better time to blog.

Sunday
Goodness. Sunday was just as amazing as Saturday. In the morning my mom woke me up cause she wanted to go to the curve. At first I was like, "ughhhhh I'm so sleepy I wanna sleep in." but then I thought about cinnamon rolls. (lately I've been craving for cinnamon rolls) So I quickly jumped out of bed and dressed up and chased my mom to not leave the house yet. Luckily I caught her just in time.
Good news: I got my cinnamon roll! :D it was like a cheaper version from the Ikea cafeteria, but ugh, doesn't matter, it was still a cinnamon roll and it was great. :')

After eating lunch, I went to borders to check out some books. Oh gosh. You know what? I found The Fault In Our Stars and this other book by Roald Dahl. I wanted to get them so badly but you see, while I was at the bookstore my mom was at the department store somewhere else, so I couldn't get the books. :( BUT. While I was at the store I got a call from Shawn, and she said that she was having some friends over for a jamming session. I've been wanting to have a jamming session with Ann and Shawn since FOREVER, and Sunday was the perfect day to do it. So Shawn called my mom to ask if I could go and my mom called me and gave me her blessing, and Aunty JP came to pick me up in front of McD's. [ so nice of her :') ]

When I got to Shawn's house Daniel was already there, and Kai Yuen and Kai Xiang arrived a little later. It was SO FUN! I don't think I've ever actually jammed with anyone so jamming with some of my favorite people in the world was pretty awesome. We played some songs, I thought Kai Xiang how to play Charlie Brown by Coldplay (check it out, it's awesome) and we sang Radioactive and it was great. Then Daniel started talking about Escape Room and how he was going with a few people. He asked if I wanted to come to, so I told him to let me know when. Yep, I've kinda been really curious about Escape Room cause it looked really, really fun. I was pretty much thrilled when Daniel invited me. :D Sadly, Kai Yuen and Kai Xiang had to leave sooner than I thought cause they both had tests the next day. So me and Daniel and Shawn and Ann were the ones left. We tried to do a cover of Radioactive. Tried. But my mom came earlier than I expected so I had to leave. :(

Monday
MONDAY! I'm just gonna skip to my favorite part: another JPS Pool Party! This time I arrived late because school. :( BUT AHH it was awesome. At the party I met these two girls called Grace and Abby and they were Americans but they were seriously one of the nicest people I'd ever met. Grace is 12 but she is really, really tall, like as tall as Nat. And Abby's 15 but you could easily mistake her for a 17 year old. So at the party we played this game called Psychiatrist and it was really fun and hilarious. Go look it up cause I don't wanna explain how it goes. I'd never laughed so much! After playing the game, they started serving cake so I had some, and we prayed for the Holtbys and the Reddys who were moving away. :( Then, I passed these mixtapes I made for Issac, Jack and Nathanael. They were really touched and thanked me, a lot. But I kept saying it was nothing, cause I had fun making the mixtapes. But hahha, they really appreciated the mixtapes. :')

Yep, so most of the party was spent telling jokes and puns and talking and it was awesome. :')

To Isaac and Jack and Nathanael and Arathi, if any of you are reading this, I just wanna tell you that being friends with you was one of the greatest experiences in my life ever. Thank you for your friendship, because I really am going to miss each and everyone of you very dearly. And yes, I love you. A lot. *cyber hug!*

Of course, a lot more happened lah, but I'm sleepy okay.

xx.
