The first thing I did this morning was shower and then dress up and then head to breakfast. Oh yes, and one more thing, it was officially CHINESE NEW YEARRRR! Yayyyyy. Breakfast was really great man, it was a buffet style breakfast and there was so many kinds of food to choose from. So while eating I received ang paos from my relatives and became the richest human on earth. Hahahahha no.
After breakfast we all adjourned to the poolside to have a photoshoot thing. The whole family took photos first, then we went family by family, then generation by generation. It was great. Then after that, we were allowed to do our own thing. So I headed back to my room and I did absolutely nothing. Okay I probably watched some TV, took photos and read a bit, then it was lunchtime. This time the food was a lot better. Then after that I went back to the room and took a nap. Naps are great man. Then around 3 or 4 I changed into my swimming suit, and went to the poolside to swiimmmm! Well actually I was really reluctant to. My cousins were already in the water, but I was standing outside the pool, contemplating on whether or not it would be worth it.
After noticing I wasn't in the water yet, Jin Jin, followed by the twins came by and started splashing my with water saying, "Come in lah!" then Jon swam towards us and was like, "If you come in, you get to do this:" *proceeds to lightly splash the water while looking very amused* then Josh comes over and goes, "Just come in!" then Sherilyn joins in and goes, "We're all related here no one's gonna judge you or anything!" I believe she sensed the reason why I didn't really wanna go in. But Jin and the twins kept splashing me so I had nothing to do but go in, which resulted in many cheers. Haha I don't regret going in though, it was loads of fun. We splashed my third uncle with water, declaring a splashing war, but ho ho he didn't back away. Instead he deflected us all with his powerful splashes, resulting in all of us cowering in the corner. Ouch. Even my mom tried to battle him but failed miserably. After more splashing and playing with water guns, we decided to go to the beach. But not the one near our rooms, we went to the public beach, which wasn't as fun as we thought it was. Too many people. So we all went back to our peaceful private beach and played in the water, played in the sand, and even bought ice cream from the ice cream dude, and it was awesome.
After that the girls (plus me) all went back to our own rooms to clean up for that night's dinner.
Dinner was good. It was again, in a buffet style, which I honestly think is the best way to have dinner. When I got my food I was gonna sit down when Josh went, "Don't sit down unless you have a bowl of soup. Go get some soup, see everyone has soup, go get some for yourself." or something like that. So I went to get soup, and I tried it, and it was pretty good. Then went on the main course and honestly, the soup was the best thing out of the whole meal. After that the twins performed, then Eve. And then we celebrated the wife of my first uncle's birthday and we got cheesecake! Then that was all for the night, and just like the night before we went to Josh, Jon and Sherilyn's villa to hang out. This night, WE TALKED A LOT. And we also performed that parody we wrote, and it received many laughs, which was awesome. We performed it three times because some of the relatives were late and all that. But that's alright. Yup this was our last night in PD which was kinda sad, but I also missed home so I didn't mind. Yup.
Sunday
After breakfast we all went back to pack our things and then we left.
When we arrived in KL we went back to my third uncle's (who is Jon, Josh and Sherilyn's dad) house cause later on that day we were going to have like another family reunion dinner thing. So I don't think I did much at his house. We prolly watched a few movies and talked a bit and stuff. Yup. Then people started coming in for the dinner and then the dinner started, and it was nice. The food was really nice. Then we all stayed downstairs to watch people gamble, and to watch movies, and the just have some more fellowship sessions. Later on when everyone had gone home, my sisters told my that my mom was too tired to drive home, so we were gonna stay at my third uncle's house for the night. Which was fine because I still had three sets of clothes left in my suitcase. So I took a shower, and then after that I found out I would be sleeping on the couch... with Josh. Which I minded but also didn't mind at all. Cause when we were both a lot younger we used to have a lot of sleepovers and stuff, but now it was less... comfortable cause I'm like 14 and he's 17. Now before you think any further, it was actually not that bad because this couch was in the shape of a capital "L", but like upside down. So it was okay, really. I guess. I slept on the horizontal side while he slept on he vertical side. It was weird but nice at the same time haha.
I guess that's how the trip ends. Now, this post here is the end of the CNY posts, but after this I'm going to add a "Falling/Rising action" post. Like the afterpost of the CNY posts, because the CNY does not end here. It gets a whole lot more funner and interesting-er so stay tuned for that.
