I just went to church yesterday and I had soooo much fun. Honestly. But first, I want to clarify this: I DO NOT LIKE BALLET.
The thing is, my sisters recently just started to learn ballet. And their class ends at the time my youth group starts. And I really, really do not like this idea, because it'll end up with me being really late for youth. >:(
Also, I have to wait there at the waiting area for my sisters to finish. And there are also other classes going on, and the students from the other classes come out once or twice for breaks, and it isn't a very pleasant sight. You know, ballet students always wear these one-piece-bathing-suit-like leotards? Okay, well sometimes, their underwear sticks out. And you can actually see beneath those stockings they also wear, the pattern or design of their undies and it's actually really weird. (And uncomfortable.)
And you can't avoid looking at them! Because thay come out to the waiting area, and the waiting area is so blooming small! So imagine you're reading a book or something and these girls with little Mickey Mouse undies come out for their break and you try to avoid them but you can't because the waiting room is so blooming small.
Anyway, I still hate ballet. I used to learn ballet when I was little but I did not like it. So I quit. (obviously)
*fast forward to church*
I reached church and saw my homies hanging around at a table. Then I saw Tjia Yi, so I sneaked up to her and gave her a mini heart attack. (so much win.)
And then we talked like little girls and I said 'hi' to Miracle cause I hadn't seen her in two weeks and I really, really missed her.
I went to the cafeteria to buy a plate of spaghetti cause I was hungry and hadn't eaten lunch or breakfast. And gosh it was good.
Later after more talking, me, Aileen, Tjia Yi, Miracle and Andrea went to the area near the entrance. We made a video there. A totally random video which you can see down here:
So this is what we do when we have nothing to do. After that, I went back to the "hanging" table to just hang out. Soon afterwards, we went to the children's church hall to take a look at them. My friend saw her new BF and went to hang out with him. (ps, he was helping out with the PA system, just in case you thought that he was one of the kids in the children's church. xD)
One of the leaders saw us hanging around and asked me and Andrea to help out with the kids in her group. So I went to help and it was kinda awkward at first, but I warmed up to the kids and it was alright.
After we helped out I went back to the "hanging" table and I saw that the 14 year olds had finally arrived. The fun was here! I said 'hi' to Bekah and Sam and Evie and Eritrea. And I just kinda listened in to conversations. Because it really is more amusing than being in them.
After more listening, I walked over to where Tjia Yi sat and I just kinda sat there. Andrew was looking at 9gag pics and started to laugh very loudly. He showed me what he was laughing at and I started laughing. LOL.
Another thing, Miracle and Andrew were having this endless poke war on Facebook, so when she couldn't get a connection on her iPod, she asked me to poke Andrew, in real life. Well, I would've happily done this, but it was really awkward. I did poke him, though. Later on, celebration started and we all followed Marie in to the Auditorium/ Sanctuary.
And we sat at the upper floor. During the worship session, my friend's new BF kept messaging her all these lovey-dovey things. And he told her to meet him outside after worship. Well, Tjia Yi and I were kinda worried for her. So we followed her out without her noticing. We went up and down the church to find them, and we finally found them at the rock garden. And that pretty much sums up my Saturday.
