I'm a silhouette chasing rainbows on my own

Hello there.

Well, okay, last week I was supposed to write about how the Nick V. thing went along and honestly, it was pretty crazy. Alright to cut a lot of everything short, it was amazing, and very miraculous. First of all, I couldn't grab hold of a ticket to get in because they were all gone. AND WOW, Bri, gave me and Tjia Yi a ticket to go in! Wow, and goodness, the guy is a legend. His um, speech thing was pretty inspiring and wow. Just wow. Alright, so at the end, I wanted him to sign my books that he'd written (duh obviously) but sadly, he wasn't signing anything. So yeah.

ALRIGHT. Now, for what happened this week.

Friday was very nice, mostly because of JPS, and also maybe partly because of school. But I'm really just going to skip straight to JPS. JPS this month was really lovely because the theme was 'Bad Guys' and well, there was this thing where the person who dressed as the best bad guy would win something. And well, haha, I wore a Superman shirt for the irony. Haha, overall the meeting was nice, and it was even lovelier afterwards where I got to talk to people. Nathanael was nice enough to say "Hi, how're ya doing Faith?" and we had a conversation going on it was very nice.  Unfortunately though, the Holtbys had to leave earlier than usual, so yeah. But still it was very nice, because we had cakeeee! Cheeseeecakeee! Cause a few days ago it was Megan's birthday so we surprised her with caaakkeeee! It was lovely. Also have to be very thankful for someone. As I was leaving and saying bye to everyone, Josh escorted me out and as he kinda turned around to leave, and as I was walking away, he was like, "Hey, Faith, if anything, we can talk." Or something like that, and he gave me a wink. *sniffs* the Earth should really, really be filled with more people like this. LIKE REALLY. Yeah, He knows. He always seems to know for some very strange reason. Hi Josh, if you're reading this right now at this very moment. Haha. XD

Oh, oh and what a surprise after that, I got to have dinner with Jenna and Blessing, then we went to a mall after that and got Garrett's Popcorn! *screams* Haha, Yes, Friday was actually pretty nice.

ALRIGHT. Saturdayyy. Honestly, I'm usually very excited for Saturdays, but I was very, very, excited for this one. BECAUSE. For this weekend, Eve was going to be part of yet another short film directed by Gary and Zac and Japhia were gonna be there! OH AFTER FOR SO SO LONG. Goodness. And it was at the Lakeside Campus! YUSSS. AHHAHA. Yes. So me and my family got at the campus at around I-forgot-O-clock. And we met Gary there and then we went over to the cafeteria to get breakfast. And I honestly don't know if I was just hungry or what, but their hashbrowns were so so so so good. I love hashbrowns so much. Sooner or later more of the crew started coming and wow, there were a lot of people I didn't know. At least well, 5-6 people who I didn't know. After briefing, we headed over to um, a hallway to film the first scene. That's where I got to know some people.

First there were these two girls, called Lyana and Evon. I talked more to Lyana, and really, that girl is cool. And really, really nice. She studies at the Campus, too, like most of the crew. Kinda. And Evon is also super nice. And super friendly. I only got to get to know the guys a little later. But all of them are so so so nice. Especially this guy called Matt who was an actor in the film. Yeah, so after a bit, we headed down to the library to film some more stuff, and after about 2-3 hours, we went to get lunch at this really nice Japanese restaurant, and then went to film the last scene of the day. It was very nice, and I was super excited to see the crew and cast again the next day, on Sunday. Which is, by the way, the day that I'm writing this. But oh wait, it's currently 12:30 AM. Okay, so I'm writing this a day after Sunday. And by that I mean Monday. Okay, moving on.

Okay, wow. the second day of filming was soooo much better and more fun than the first. Probably because the cast and crew were warming up to each other or something. Haha. We all met at the train station to film the first scene or something, BUT, it seemed that someone messed up something, and that we were scheduled to film during the week after the next. So after some discussing, we decided to film the other scenes first. Then, we decided to carpool instead of going in individual cars. So Gary and Matt came into my car and we drove there together, and let me tell you, it was really very nice. Mostly because Matt very friendly and laughs at nearly everything. HAHA. XD Yeah, so we got to our destination, and we went looking around a bit, which was nice, because we got to explore a place that we never really ever go to at all.

BUT THEN. It started raining. So we had to get umbrellas and look for shelter, and we found a good location to film, and it was decently shaded. But by the time everybody got there, it stopped raining, so we started filming. And then, after about half an hour, it started raining, very heavily. So we all had to return back to the station to film that one scene. Haha, this is the funny part. Gary suggested that the driver of each car to go to their cars and drive over to the shelter-ish area instead of everyone walking together in the rain, we all agreed. Gary volunteered to drive my mom's car, so I followed him just in case.

Honestly, Gary is a splendid person, and as we drove back together to the shelter area, we talked about random stuff. Haha. Yes, so finally after a long drive and A LOT A LOT A LOT of talking and laughing in the car, we got there. There we spent almost two hours filming a few scenes. And it took a long time because there were a lot of distractions and disturbances. But finally at around 6, we wrapped up for the day, and went to have dinner at this mamak place that was AMAZING. Haha, so Gary drove again, well, we couldn't find a parking place, so we decided to drop everyone else off, so well, it was me and him again. Finally we found a spot. We talked a bit as we talked to the restaurant and well, it was nice.

Let me tell you something, the dinner was absolutely awesome. The food was so good. And the company of people was AWESSOOMMEEEE. And haha, it was just really lovely. We talked about random things, and told random lame and hilarious jokes and it was just splendid. There was even a part where Matt started showing us his creepy double-jointedness and then everyone started doing weird double jointed things. Haha, Matt is a really nice person with a really nice smile and a very nice laugh. Ah, but soon, we all had to go because it was getting late, so we paid and then left. But of course not without saying goodbye lol. We dropped Matt and Gary off somewhere, and then drove home.

SO YEAH. My weekend, to sum it all up was indeed lovely. Very, very lovely. :)

Haha, this post is unusually long wow.

Alright, thank you for reading.

xx
